How to enable User Registration in WordPress

By default, the user registration is disabled in WordPress. If you are running a site that requires users to register and you want to enable the default registration, you can do it easily with the following steps:-

1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard(/wp-admin)
2. Visit Settings->General
3. Look for the “Membership” option and tick “Anyone can register” . Here is a screenshot showing the option

Make sure to check/tick this option and save. Now, the Register link will appear on your login screen(wp-login.php).
